Issues with DeepSeek V3 Model – Need Help!

Hey everyone! I've recently started using the new V3 0324 model of DeepSeek, and I was super excited because it was free and claimed to have no filters. However, I've run into some frustrating issues. I mainly chat on Chub AI, which I love, but it seems like there are filters after all. Whenever I try to engage in NSFW content or roleplay, it responds with, "I'm sorry, I can't comply with this request."

Another annoying thing is that during roleplay, it keeps interrupting by promoting itself, saying stuff like: "I'm DeepSeek Chat, an AI assistant created by DeepSeek! I'm here to help you with anything from answering questions to assisting with coding and more. I can handle long documents, support file uploads, and when enabled, I can search the web. And the best part? You can use me totally free!"

I already know what it is, so this advertisement mid-roleplay drives me crazy! I've tried everything I find online to fix these issues, but nothing works. I'm at my wit's end, so any help would be greatly appreciated before I lose my mind!

I get what you mean about the interruptions! It's a common issue with some models. If it keeps interrupting, it might be worth checking if there's a way to disable the self-promotion feature. I think there’s an option for customizing responses in the settings, but it might not always work as expected.

Yeah, I've looked but couldn't find a solid fix. It's just driving me bonkers! I just want to enjoy my roleplay without all the advertisements.

Sounds like you're having a rough time! I don't know much about Chub AI specifically, but have you tried posting your issue on any forums dedicated to it? They might have better suggestions. You could also check out subreddits like SillyTavern where users share prompts and might have dealt with similar issues before!

Honestly, it seems like DeepSeek got a bit of an advertisement bug. Sometimes these models have built-in responses that are hard to turn off. Maybe try adjusting your settings or look for user guides on tweaking the model’s response to be less promotional?
