I'm experiencing some serious issues with Windows Server 2025 Domain Controllers. After booting, Microsoft Defender Antivirus fails to start, Splashtop Remote Service doesn't work, and PDQ Inventory scans hang indefinitely. Disabling or removing Splashtop seems to fix Defender, which raises concerns about system stability. I've noticed that Defender tries to initialize before the Group Policy hive is ready, leading to its settings becoming ineffective. Has anyone else faced these problems, or is Microsoft aware of any boot-ordering issues with Server 2025?

I've gotta ask, what’s the benefit of using Splashtop on a Domain Controller? Seems like it’s causing more problems than it’s worth, especially with the issues you're facing.
There are quite a few threads discussing the instability of Windows Server 2025 right now. Many users are finding that it's not production ready, so you’re definitely not alone in this. It’s worth considering reverting back to 2022 for the meantime.
There's definitely been chatter about Server 2025 having a lot of problems. With Splashtop causing issues at startup like you mentioned, it might be good to completely remove it until further notice.
