Hey everyone! I'm having some frustrating issues with my ISP that are really affecting my gaming experience. Specifically, I've noticed that my ping is super high during certain games, and streaming on Discord is laggy as well. The weird part is that when I use a VPN, everything runs smoothly, which makes me think the problem is definitely with my ISP. Unfortunately, I can't afford a premium VPN right now, so I'm looking for alternative solutions to fix these ISP-related issues without having to switch providers. Any suggestions?

Have you tried setting static public DNS servers in your network settings? Some people find it helps instead of relying on the DNS from your ISP.
Which game are you experiencing lag with? If it’s Roblox, I’ve read it often uses AWS for its servers, which might be part of the issue.
Yeah, it's mainly Roblox that's lagging for me.
It might be worth reaching out to your ISP directly. Sometimes they can tweak things on their end or even offer a temporary solution.
I tried that, but it didn’t really seem to change anything for me.
