Issues with Seasonic Prime TX-1600 PSU Not Working on MSI MEG X570 ACE

I'm having trouble with my MSI MEG X570 ACE motherboard and the new Seasonic Prime TX-1600 PSU (ATX 3.1). My system won't POST at all when I replace my old Corsair RM850X with the Seasonic; it powers on for a brief second, clicks, and then turns off. The RM850X works fine, so it's definitely the Seasonic causing the issue. I need a reliable PSU that's at least 1000W and fully compatible with my setup. Has anyone here successfully used an ATX 3.0 or 3.1 PSU with an X570 motherboard, or can you recommend models that are known to work?

Have you tried swapping out all the modular cables? The specs for the cables that go to the motherboard haven't changed, so there shouldn't be an issue using an ATX 3.x PSU with older boards. Just make sure everything is securely connected!

Initially, I was lazy and used the old Corsair cables with the Seasonic, but after no POST, I replaced them all with the Seasonic cables too. Still no change — the system just powers down before even getting to POST.

I don't see why the Seasonic wouldn't work fine! Double-check that all your cables are plugged in correctly. If it came with a PSU test jumper, you can connect that to see if the PSU can run independently. Alternatively, try it with another PC to rule out any problems.

I did use the PSU test jumper, connecting it directly to the motherboard and then to the Seasonic cable that came with it. It lit up blue, so at least I know the PSU itself is good.
