Issues with Test 8 on Memtest86 After Building a New PC

I recently assembled a new gaming PC and it had been running smoothly for about three months. However, I've started encountering crashes while playing Counter Strike, Deadlock, and Arc Raiders. To troubleshoot, I ran Memtest86 to check the memory. While most tests passed, I found problems specifically with Test 8. My RAM consists of Crucial 2x16GB DDR5 6000 CL36 modules, but they only operate at 5200 without enabling Expo, which I haven't used. Is this a reason to consider a warranty replacement, or what other issues might I need to look into?

Since you’re already running tests on individual sticks, keep doing that. It’s a solid approach. If one stick fails consistently while the other passes, you might have your answer. And if both are having issues, consider checking other components or even reaching out for a warranty replacement if you find faults.

Memory issues can definitely stem from the RAM itself, but don't forget that the motherboard slots and CPU memory controller could also be the culprits. A good way to confirm if it's the RAM is to try testing them in a different computer or swap out for a different set of RAM in your current build. That should help narrow down the problem!
