Hey everyone! I've recently switched to a new computer and spent a whole week transferring all my CDs and MP3s into iTunes. However, now I'm having a major issue: I can't seem to sync my library to my iPhone 16. I've already tried a bunch of troubleshooting steps like uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes and the Apple Device software (currently uninstalled), changing out cables and USB ports. When I plug my phone in, it charges and I get the Windows alert, but it doesn't show up in This PC. My phone does prompt me to trust the computer, and I accept that. This used to work without any issues—any suggestions? Thanks!

If you’re on iOS 18.5 and want to sync music through USB-C, you'll need the Apple Music app in addition to Apple Devices. I tried this, but if it doesn’t work, just a heads up!
Make sure there are no other Apple apps like Apple Music or Apple TV installed. If they are, uninstall them! Sometimes those can conflict with iTunes. After that, restarting your PC might help too!
Check out this support link from Apple, it might have some steps you haven't tried yet: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/devices-windows/mchlbf6a1fab/windows.
Consider getting iTunes Match for $25 a year! It syncs your music library both ways and even upgrades your MP3s to higher quality if they match. Plus, Apple stores your music on their servers with a decent limit. Check it out here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/108935.
I gave that a shot, but it still doesn't recognize my phone.
