Hey everyone! I'm super excited because I've just landed my first internship working with .NET. Up until now, my experience has been primarily with Java, so I haven't really used .NET, Visual Studio, or any of that before. I'm looking for recommendations on content or possibly a paid course to help me get up to speed with these technologies. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

It's not unusual to get a .NET internship without direct experience. Sometimes places focus more on your general coding skills and understanding of OOP concepts. For example, I went through a regular interview process and they didn't test me specifically on .NET; it was more about coding principles. Many students don't get much exposure to .NET in school.
Are you in college? I'm just wondering how you managed to get that internship without any prior knowledge of .NET.
I actually found it through LinkedIn.
Microsoft offers a ton of great resources since .NET is their framework. You can find helpful videos, references, and examples on their official site. Check out this link for the C# documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/csharp/
Thanks for the tip!
Yeah, I've noticed that too. A lot of .NET teams are willing to train interns who haven't used the framework before.
