Hey everyone! I recently made the jump from Windows 11 to Pop!_OS on my new laptop from college, and I was super excited at first. However, now I'm feeling pretty lost. I plan to use this laptop for creative work, especially video editing and digital art, but some of the applications I want to use aren't working the way I hoped. Are there any other Linux distros that might be better suited for these purposes? I'm also looking to play Minecraft with some mods and want everything to run smoothly. My laptop has an HS processor and integrated AMD graphics, so I'd love any advice or recommendations you can share!

Right now, I’m mainly trying to use Blender and Paintstorm Studio. I had some trouble with a smaller app for world building, but I managed to get it working. By the way, do you know if LibreOffice can handle .docx files well?
Adobe apps are pretty much a no-go on Linux. You might want to consider dual-booting with Windows on one drive to have the best of both worlds. Just a heads-up, research is definitely key before switching OSs!
What apps are you trying to use? Generally, if an app works in Linux, it doesn’t matter which distro you choose, but installation methods can differ depending on the distro.
