I'm experiencing a really frustrating issue with my ASUS ROG G513RM laptop. It randomly restarts when it goes into sleep mode or when the screen turns off, which can happen anywhere from a few minutes to longer. This issue only occurs in normal operating modes and does not happen in Safe Mode or BIOS, where the laptop stays on without issue. I've tested various Windows versions (from Windows 8 to 11) as well as Linux, and the problem persists across all of them.
I've tried a ton of potential fixes including disabling Fast Startup, tweaking power settings, testing with the charger and on battery, multiple clean installs of Windows, ensuring all drivers are up-to-date from the ASUS website, and even updating the BIOS. I've found that disabling certain power-related services stops the restarts completely, but it also breaks normal functionality, which isn't a viable solution.
I'm pondering if this might be a firmware or ACPI bug, if there's a specific driver causing this, or if it could be a hardware issue even though everything works fine in BIOS. Any insights would be really appreciated!

Have you checked your chipset drivers? Updating or reinstalling them can sometimes fix issues like this. It might be worth a shot if you haven't done it recently.
