I just traveled half an hour to a café, bought an expensive lunch, and forgot my phone at home to focus. Now, when I try to sign in to my Microsoft account to access Blackboard, it keeps asking for verification through Microsoft Authenticator on my phone. I tried selecting the option that says I don't have access to that right now, but it just loops back to the same page requiring the Authenticator. Is there any workaround for this, or am I stuck heading home without access?

For now, there's no other option unless you have another device registered, like a YubiKey. But those can only be set up once you’re logged in. Definitely a frustrating situation!
Yep, that’s the point of having 2FA. It’s all about securing your account, which means you’ll need that code from your phone. Sorry to say, you might just have to head back home or wait until you get your phone.
Unfortunately, there's no way around it. That two-factor authentication is designed to keep your account secure, so without your phone, you're locked out for the time being.
Yeah, heading home might be your only choice. It’s a pain, but that's the trade-off for added security with two-factor authentication.
