Hey everyone! I'm trying to find a good 4K ultrawide curved monitor that's between 32 and 36 inches, preferably under 40 inches. Right now, I have a 32-inch 2K monitor (3440 x 1440) at 100Hz that I really like, but I'm thinking about upgrading. Ideally, I want a similar size to my current monitor, but 38 inches feels too big for me and I suspect 40 inches would be too distracting while gaming. I'm assuming that for something to be truly 4K, the vertical resolution should be 2160 pixels. I'd love to have a monitor with at least a 144Hz refresh rate, but I can't seem to find anything in that size range. Can anyone explain why it's so hard to find what I'm looking for?

It looks like what you're wanting just isn't commonly available. Most manufacturers haven't produced a 4K ultrawide in that size range. A lot of the options start at 40 inches or go up, so your best bet might be to look into slightly larger displays that maintain a similar vertical height. Like, you could consider QD-OLED panels even if they push the size over 40 inches, as these may offer the quality you're looking for.

That’s true! Even though it might be a bit out of your size preference, something like a 49-inch monitor could give you that same vertical footprint as your current 32-inch.
