I have an Intel Core i5-12600K and I'm currently using a Coolermaster 212 EVO for cooling. Honestly, it's not doing a great job, especially for overclocking. I'm open to both air coolers and AIOs, but I prefer something that will keep my CPU cool—though I do find AIOs aesthetically pleasing. I'm aware of the downsides of AIOs, though. My budget is around $60, and I've heard people mention the Peerless Assassin, but I'm unsure if it's powerful enough for overclocking. What would be the best cooler option for me?

For your budget, consider a few solid options like the Noctua NH-D15 G2, Thermalright Royal Pretor 130, or the Arctic Freezer 36 (Pro). These coolers should handle overclocking pretty well and fit within your budget. The be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5 is also a great pick if you can find it at a good price.

Do you know if these are really effective for overclocking?
