Hey everyone, I'm currently building a PC and I've got an RX 6700 XT GPU paired with a Ryzen 5 5700X CPU. I'm on the hunt for a motherboard that is not just good for my current setup but also futureproof in case I decide to upgrade later. Additionally, I usually use an Ethernet connection; does it really matter if the motherboard has built-in WiFi? Any recommendations would be appreciated! Thanks!

For future upgrades, you'd want to look at a current-gen AM5 CPU and motherboard, as the AM4 socket is basically done for. If you're trying to save a bit, you could still get a B450 or B550 AM4 board along with 16GB of DDR4-3600 RAM. That would work fine with your GPU now, but keep in mind, for your next upgrade, you’ll need to swap out the CPU, motherboard, and RAM entirely.
Thanks for the heads up! I had no idea AM4 was outdated. I’ll start hunting for an AM5 CPU for my next steps!
