Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a pickle and really need your help with finding an Android tablet. I've pretty much ruled out Samsung tablets because they seem overpriced for what you get. I'm not interested in Apple either, so I'm considering brands like Xiaomi, Honor, and Huawei. What I'm looking for is a tablet with solid performance, a nice-looking screen, and ideally no larger than 11 inches. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, the Mi Pad 6 or 7 is probably the best option for you. It's fast, has a great screen, decent battery life, and supports Google Mobile Services which is a big plus over Huawei. Plus, it even has support for a stylus!
Actually, HarmonyOS is pretty much like Android, and a lot of sideloaded apps should work just fine unless they specifically need Google Mobile Services. Plus, Huawei has alternatives like MicroG for those who want more privacy.
Have you considered the Amazon Fire tablets? They’re budget-friendly and can handle everyday tasks pretty well.
Yeah, I've heard that Amazon Fire's performance can be hit or miss.
You might want to check out the Lenovo Tab Pro or Tab Plus. They have great build quality, nice screens, and the sound quality is amazing! Also, the new OnePlus Tab looks pretty good too, but it might be a bit pricier than what you're hoping for.
I'd steer clear of Huawei unless you're pretty tech-savvy. Their current devices run a modified Android OS which isn't fully compatible with Google services. You might face issues with about 20% of Android apps not working.
I don’t have personal experience with them, but after I cracked my Samsung tablet screen, I switched back to an iPad for cost reasons.
