I'm searching for a solid download manager for Ubuntu that works similarly to 1DM, which I really enjoy using on my phone for ripping media from various sites. I need something simple and user-friendly. I've already tried a few options, but I found the interfaces challenging or just confusing. I'm running Ubuntu 24.04, so any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Have you checked out uGet or Free Download Manager (FDM)? They’re both pretty popular options for Ubuntu. Just make sure to give them a try!
Honestly, most browsers like Firefox or Chrome handle downloads pretty well nowadays. Maybe you could give their built-in download managers a shot if you haven't already.
I tried downloading FDM, but it wouldn’t open for me. Not sure what the issue was.
