I'm planning to build my first PC but I'm feeling a bit lost. I want to keep the budget under $1200 and I'm hoping to get some solid recommendations. I've watched a few videos, so I think I can manage the assembly, but I really need help with picking out the parts. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Before you dive in, I'd recommend considering a couple of questions: Do you care about how the PC looks? Like, do you prefer a black or white case? Also, what games or apps are you planning to use mainly? Knowing these can really help narrow down your parts!
Check out this build I put together on PCPartPicker: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/LonePupper45/saved/fZL3Hx. It should fit under your budget and run pretty well for gaming!

I don’t really care about aesthetics. I mainly play Valorant, and my wife enjoys Fortnite and Minecraft.
