I'm trying to find a UEFI-compatible Linux distro that will fit on my 16GB hard drive and allow me to do basic tasks like logging into YouTube. I noticed that Mint needs a bit more space than I have, and Puppy doesn't support UEFI installs. TinyCore might be tricky for WiFi setup, and I'm looking for something relatively easy to use. Just to give you some context, I'm on a 2014 Acer C720 Chromebook with MrChromebox firmware and I don't want to run a boot USB all the time. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

If you want to get a real feel for Linux before installing, try running a Live Distro. MX Linux can be booted from a USB without affecting your current OS. Plus, check out Ventoy, which lets you try out multiple distros easily from a USB!
This might be a bit unconventional, but you could try Void Linux or Alpine. They might meet your needs!
For TinyCore, I remember having to download an extra WiFi driver package separately and transfer it to the USB. The WiFi package was about 200MB while TinyCore itself was only around 100MB, but it worked for me a few years back.
Have you considered using Lubuntu? It's lightweight and should fit your requirements.
