Hey everyone! I'm often in need of a monitor but face situations where there's no plug available or the right connections. I'm specifically looking for a portable monitor around 10 inches that can run on battery. It's crucial that it has HDMI and VGA connections at a minimum, though I'd love it to support other inputs like DVI and DP as well. I know I can use a regular portable monitor with an HDMI and VGA setup powered through a 12v outlet, but I really want the most portable solution possible. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Try checking out video monitors meant for cameras. There are plenty that run off camcorder batteries and take HDMI input; some even have analog inputs.
Consider looking at portable screens that can be powered via USB. They can plug directly into a laptop or an external USB battery which simplifies setup.
You could also plug it into the server if it supports that, but keep in mind that not all NVRs play well with USB power.
True, they might not work with NVR systems, so just something to consider when choosing.
