Looking for a Private Cloud Storage Alternative

I'm searching for a cloud storage service that doesn't scan or index my photos or files for advertising purposes, unlike Google Drive. I value my privacy and want a secure platform that respects user data without the need for infinite space or AI features. Has anyone found a trustworthy cloud platform that meets these needs?

There’s also a new service called Ente that’s emerging. I’ve heard good things about their privacy policies, but it might be worth doing some research to see if it fits your needs.

I hear you! It's tough finding a secure option. Have you looked into Proton Drive? It's end-to-end encrypted, so not even they can access your files. The interface is user-friendly too.

I haven’t tried Proton Drive yet. Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll check it out.

You might want to consider getting a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device. It gives you full control over your files and you don’t have to worry about any scanning or indexing by third parties.
