Looking for a Reliable M.2 NVME Extension Cable—Any Recommendations?

I'm trying to find a trustworthy M.2 NVME extension cable for my DGX spark, which has a half-size 2242 NVME slot. Sourcing a 4TB NVME in that size is nearly impossible, so I'm considering using an extension. However, I'm nervous about buying one without reviews since I don't want to risk damaging my expensive AI workstation or the pricey 4TB NVME I just purchased. Are these PCIe extension cables generally reliable? If there's a vendor known for their quality, I'm willing to pay extra for peace of mind. I'm currently eyeing the 'RIITOP M.2 NVMe Extension Cable' on Amazon, which supports PCIe 4.0 and fits various sizes including 2242. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, I haven't found a guaranteed reliable extension cable. The safest option might be to stick with a 2242 and use a PCIe-NMVE expansion card instead. These cards are generally dependable and could save you some hassle.

Can you suggest a specific expansion card that works well? Thanks!
