Looking for a Reliable Power Supply Review Website

Hey everyone! A while back, I upgraded my power supply because I had issues with a Corsair unit that didn't perform as it should. At the time, I found a fantastic website that tested power supplies thoroughly, showing how they held up under stress. The Corsair couldn't handle its rated 750W, but the 650W Antec I switched to was stress-tested much better. Unfortunately, I can't remember the website's name to save my life! Anyone know which one I'm talking about?

Here’s a link to an archived version of JonnyGURU: [Archived JonnyGURU Review](https://web.archive.org/web/20160816204208/http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=416#expand). It's not perfect, but it gives a glimpse into what you might be looking for.

You might want to check out Linus Tech Tips; they've been testing modern PSUs and have some great recommendations. I once had a Corsair CX430 that lasted 13 years in my TV PC, believe it or not! Those lower-end units might surprise you sometimes.

I remember having a CX750 that started having issues after I put in a new GPU. It was pretty loud too! Sometimes those units are just hit or miss.

I had a 500W unit from a prebuilt HP that lasted 10 years! Sometimes you just get lucky, right?

Are you thinking of this link? [Cultists Network's PSU Tier List](https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/). It hasn't been updated in a while, but it might help you out. There’s also a Google spreadsheet with newer information [here](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1eL0893Ramlwk6E3s3uSvH1_juom7SMG5SCNzP2Uov8w/edit?gid=1719706335#gid=1719706335). However, it doesn't have that in-depth review style you're used to.

That's a solid resource, but the site I was looking for had real detailed reviews and tests across multiple pages. Super in-depth.

I think JonnyGURU is what you’re after; they did extensive tests but sadly, they shut down a few years ago. Other alternatives include Tom's Hardware and TechPowerUp, but they might not have the same level of detail. We generally use PSU Tier Lists now, though they're not always up to date.

Yeah, JonnyGURU was the best! I remember their thorough reviews and test results. It's a bummer they shut down.
