Looking for a Simple PDF Reader – Any Recommendations?

Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a simple device that lets me read PDF files without the fuss of internet connections or buying specific formats. I've never owned an e-reader like a Kindle, but after thinking about it, I'd really love something that works like a classic MP3 player for PDFs. Basically, I want to connect it to my computer, transfer a PDF, and read it whenever I want. I want the option to make notes or underline text if possible. Does anyone know if such a device exists?

It sounds like you’re looking for an e-book reader! Those typically allow you to upload PDFs directly, but you should check which formats they support. Some popular options are Kindles, Kobos, and Onyx. If you want to avoid proprietary formats, Kobo is a good choice since it reads both PDFs and EPUBs, and they have options for managing your library too!

That’s what I figured too, but are there any that support just regular PDFs without needing to convert them first?
