You could also check out linuxserver.io. They have a variety of images available, including some for different uses.
Have you checked out Docker Hub? It's a solid starting point for base images. If you want something without vulnerabilities, Echo is worth looking into too!

True, I prefer sticking to the official ones too, but some lightweight images might not have the same marketing power to get noticed.
