Hey everyone! I thought my PC build was finished, but with my tax return looking good, I'm considering upgrading to an OLED monitor. Are there any decent 27" options available around the $500 mark, ideally something I can grab from Microcenter? On another note, since I've got a 9070XT now, are there any well-regarded 4K monitors in that price range? I know I'm moving the target here, but anything to distract me from obsessing over the Oblivion remaster would be great!

Right now, the Acer X27U is going for $499.99 at Best Buy, and that’s probably your best bet. Even though the name might confuse you, it should be the newer variant with HDMI 2.1. Plus, if you buy from Best Buy, you can grab their GeekSquad protection plan, which covers burn-in for 4 years.
I picked up the Dell AW2725DF for about $590, which is a great choice! It’s been performing really well for me.
I love my Omen 27QS! It’s 1440p with a 240Hz refresh rate and HDR. I snagged it for $400 less than a year ago when it wasn't on sale, but I guess prices have gone up due to tariffs. Definitely one of the best monitors I've owned!
You might not get the best deals at Microcenter, so keep an eye out for sales. Most of the newer OLED panels are pretty decent now, and if you're eyeing 27" 1440p monitors, you can find some with at least a 240Hz refresh rate. Samsung OLEDs have been on sale regularly, with models like the G61SD/G60SD dropping to around $500-$600. AOC and MSI also have options that recently went down to $399, so check those out!
Honestly, the 9070XT isn't really suited for 4K gaming, so sticking to 1440p is advisable. If you want an OLED in your budget, it might be tough finding one at Microcenter, but Amazon has options like the Pixio PX277 OLED MAX for about $549. I have the Asus version, and it's fantastic!
I get that point, but does that apply to all games? Could the 9070XT perform well at 4K with older titles?
Really? The 4th best gaming GPU can't handle 4K?
