Hey everyone! I'm currently running Arch Linux, but I'm getting tired of the constant updates and maintenance it requires. I'm searching for a Linux distribution that's stable yet still has the power and features I loved about Arch. Any recommendations on which distros might fit the bill?

When it comes to picking a stable distro, it might be worth checking out Fedora. It manages to strike a nice balance between having updated packages and not being so cutting edge that it breaks everything. Plus, they have some really interesting Immutable variants that could suit your needs! Just remember, every distro has its own quirks, so you might need to test a few before you find your perfect fit.

What about NixOS? It's quite different from what you're used to, but it has some really unique features that can be appealing. It's specifically designed to be hashed out and rolled back easily, which could give you a lot of flexibility without frequent updates!

Have you thought about trying Manjaro? It’s based on Arch, so it retains a lot of the user-friendly aspects of what you’re used to, but offers more stability. It’s a great choice for users looking to have that Arch flavor without the constant upkeep.

You could also go for Debian 12. It’s known for its stability, and while it may not have the latest features right away, you’ll enjoy a solid and reliable system without the hassle.
