I'm in search of a USB-powered Wifi to Ethernet adapter for my work laptop, which unfortunately doesn't have built-in Wifi. Currently, everyone uses a wall-plugged extender, but moving around means I have to unplug it and disrupt connections. I think a USB-powered device would make things a lot easier. Does anyone know if such a product exists?

Just a heads up, if you're thinking about finding workarounds like these, make sure it won't get you in trouble with your employer's IT policies.
Honestly, I'm still trying to wrap my head around how a laptop could not have built-in Wifi. Is it possibly just disabled?
You might want to check out a mini router like the GL.iNet GL-MT300N-V2. It's USB-powered, can pick up a Wifi connection, and has a LAN port for your laptop, which could work well for your situation.
If your laptop's Wifi is disabled due to company policies, there's a good chance any USB Wifi adapter would be blocked as well.
Why not consider getting a USB wireless network adapter instead? They’re pretty compact and could solve your issue more easily.
