I'm in a bit of a bind here! My school district has some strict rules that prevent us from installing any drivers or software on our laptops. Plus, our printers won't connect to the WiFi, and there's no way to use Ethernet either. I'm wondering if there are any printers out there that can connect via USB and won't require any software downloads. Any suggestions?

Another idea: if you can email the document to yourself, you could print it from your phone at a different location with a printer. Just an option if you're in a pinch!
If you're looking for a solution, I ran into a similar issue a couple of years back. I ended up using an HP printer that had a cloud feature. I could email a PDF to it, and I’d connect the printer to my phone’s hotspot when I needed to print. You might want to check if HP still has that capability!
One option could be to print to PDF and then email the file to a device that has a printer. Just a thought! But keep in mind, that would also need the printer to have internet access, which you might not have.
I think it’s mostly about the school rules regarding network access and devices. They want to keep their equipment safe, which makes sense. You might want to reach out to your school about what specific printers they allow just to stay in the clear.

True, that won’t work in this case since there’s no internet access at all.
