Looking for Advice on a Budget Gaming and Editing Build

I'm planning to build a PC with a budget between $700 and $800. Here are the specs I have in mind: an Intel i7 CPU with a base speed of 3.40 GHz (boosting up to 3.90 GHz), 4 cores and 8 threads, and either 16 GB or 32 GB of RAM. I want at least 500 GB for the main drive, plus an additional 1 TB drive. I'm aiming to include an Nvidia RTX 5060. This setup will mainly be for gaming, but I also want to use it for video editing and sound mixing. Any suggestions or feedback would be welcome!

What generation is that i7? It varies widely; you could be looking at anything from an i7 2700 to a 7700, both of which are pretty old. You might want to clarify to ensure you're getting something more current for your needs.

If you're going with an Intel i7, try to go for at least a 7th or 8th generation model for better performance. As for the RTX 5060, it should handle most modern games well, but make sure your PSU can support it. You might want to consider how much RAM you really need; 16 GB is often enough, especially if you're not multitasking heavily during your edits.
