Hey everyone! I've mainly been a console gamer, but I'm finally ready to dive into the PC world. I'm planning to spend around $1000 on my first setup. Can anyone help me figure out the best options? Should I build it myself or go for a pre-built system? Thanks for your input!

I'd recommend building it yourself! You'll get much better value for your money and avoid the issues that come with pre-built systems. Plus, it's not too complicated; just watch a few tutorials, and you’ll be all set!

Totally doable if you’re smart about it! Just keep in mind, does your $1000 budget include peripherals like a monitor, keyboard, or mouse?

Are you leaning towards building it yourself or considering pre-builts?

Honestly, either option is fine! Just curious if you think there’s a clear winner for newbies.
