I've recently received a refund of about 300€ for my broken 6750XT, and I'm in the market for a new GPU. My current setup includes a Ryzen 9600x and an 850W PSU, and I game on a 1440p 75Hz monitor. Since I only upgrade my hardware about once a decade, I want to make the right choice this time. Here are two GPUs I'm considering: the XFX 9060XT (3 fans) for 417€, and the Gigabyte 5060Ti Eagle Max 16GB for 512€. I'm also thinking about higher-tier options like the RTX 5070, which has only 12GB and costs between 576€ and 639€, and the AMD RX 9070 at around 655€ or the 9070XT for 693€. I'm unsure if the extra cost for the higher-tier models is worth it. What do you recommend? Additionally, I made a typo and meant to say 9060XT instead of 9070XT in my previous message.

Both the 9060XT and the 9070XT are great options, especially if they’re cheaper than NVIDIA's offerings. They're solid for 1440p.
The 9060XT for 417€ is a better deal compared to the 5060Ti at 512€. Their raster performance is nearly the same, and AMD's ray tracing isn’t much behind either. The 5070 at 576€ is a better value than the 9070 at 655€, especially since the 12GB VRAM will still be sufficient for now. And while the 9070XT is faster at 1440p, the price jump isn’t that enticing for just 15% more performance.
Wait, are you seeing the 9070XT for 417€? That's an incredible deal! Oh, I see you meant the 9060XT. In that case, skip the XFX model; you don’t need a triple-fan setup. Just go for the cheapest 9060XT available. Also, with a 75Hz monitor, all these GPUs should serve you well. However, if you're considering power, the 5070 might be the winner, even with its slightly lower VRAM.
I noticed the RX 9070 non-XT is about 606€, which is just 50€ more than the RTX 5070. It's cheaper than the 9070XT, so it might be worth a look if prices have gone up. You just missed the good deals from a week or two ago.

That's awesome, but when we say 'good for a while', are we talking about 4 years versus 8 years? Just trying to figure out the lifespan we can expect.
