Hi everyone! I'm excited to build my first PC and I'm looking for some advice on the parts I'm considering. I've listed my potential components on PCPartPicker, and my budget is set at $1200. I also have a Micro Center nearby, so I'm wondering if it's better to purchase my parts there instead. Any tips or feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I think you should definitely look into getting a better graphics card. I found one that might be worth the extra cash—check out the ASRock Radeon RX 9060 XT Challenger; it's about $150 more. The performance boost is totally worth it!

Thanks for the tip! I just checked it out on Amazon and it's actually $70 cheaper than the link you provided. It fits my budget perfectly! Just hoping RAM prices don't spike by March.

Quick question: I heard that if you use a PCIe 5.0 card on a 4.0 motherboard, it can halve the VRAM. Is that true, or is it not that drastic?
