I'm in the process of building a high-end gaming PC and I would love any advice you might have! Here's my current build:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- Motherboard: Asus B650E MAX GAMING WIFI ATX AM5
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB DDR5-6000 CL36
- SSD: Crucial P3 Plus 2 TB
- GPU: Gigabyte RTX 5070 Ti 16GB
- PSU: Cooler Master MWE Gold 850W
Let me know if you see any potential upgrades or alternatives!

Everything seems great, but I’d suggest investing in a better cooler. The stock cooler might be fine, but it could be limiting your CPU boost. I'm opting for a custom cooler myself to handle better performance. Something like the Arctic Freezer 36 is a good start!

Got it, I might switch to an AIO cooler. Thanks!

Consider upgrading your SSD to a Gen 4 with DRAM like the WD SN850X for faster boot times and loading. Should make a noticeable difference! Otherwise, your setup is looking great!

Understood, I appreciate the suggestion!

Your build looks solid! If you're focused mainly on gaming, you might want to consider the AMD 9070 XT instead of the RTX 5070 Ti if it’s significantly cheaper (more than $100 difference) and meets your needs. Also, have you thought about getting RAM with a faster speed, like CL30? It can help with performance!

I'll check the prices when I’m at the store! The GPU market here is pretty volatile. Thanks for the tip on the RAM!

Quick question for everyone regarding RAM: I recently built a PC with an i7 12700KF and DDR5 6000 MHz CL36 RAM, but I’m seeing a lot of recommendations for CL30. What’s the difference, and will it really make a difference in performance?

Just a heads up, you can find faster RAM that’s still RGB is less expensive than what you've chosen. The Teamgroup and Patriot options at 6000 CL30 speed are worth considering! Check out the links I shared for some alternatives; they might save you a bit of cash!

Thanks for the recommendations!
