Looking for Advice on Upgrading My PC

Hey everyone! I built my PC back in 2019 using parts that are already a few years old, and while it runs most games pretty well, I've started to notice my FPS dropping in some titles. I'm thinking about upgrading my CPU and GPU to improve performance. Since I already built the PC, I believe it would be more cost-effective to upgrade rather than buying a prebuilt. I used PCPartPicker to make sure everything is compatible. Here's my current setup:

- CPU: Intel Core i3-6100
- GPU: Radeon RX 570
- Motherboard: ASRock B250 Pro4
- RAM: 16 GB
- Storage: Samsung 860 Evo 500 GB SSD
- Power Supply: Insignia ns-pcw4508

I'm considering these upgrades:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
- GPU: Gigabyte GAMING OC Radeon RX 7600 XT
- Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II ATX AM4
- RAM: 16 GB (maybe considering more)
- Storage: Samsung 860 Evo 500 GB SSD and Seagate BarraCuda 4 TB
- Power Supply: Corsair CX Series CX550 550W (just want to be sure it's enough)

I mainly play games like all the Dark Souls games, Elden Ring, Black Ops 3/6, Minecraft, Terraria, Ghost of Tsushima, Ghostwire: Tokyo, Farming Simulator 22, and DayZ. If you guys have any recommendations or changes to my plan, I'd love to hear them!

Before you dive into those upgrades, I'd suggest we get a bit more clarity on your budget and what you're specifically looking for in gaming performance. For instance, that power supply may not be sufficient if you're going for a higher-tier GPU. A gold-rated 750W PSU might be worth considering, especially for a few extra bucks. Also, if you're worried about RAM, opting for 24GB could provide a noticeable boost, especially with modern games. Don't forget to use PCPartPicker's features to mark parts as already bought; it's super helpful!

Thanks for the insights! I’m not super strict on price since I plan to buy the upgrades slowly, maybe around $1,500 total. I'll definitely consider increasing my RAM to 24GB. Appreciate the tip about marking items on PCPartPicker!
