Hi everyone! I'm on the hunt for cloud-based managed print services that won't break the bank. We currently use Universal Print which has its quirks like struggling with large PDFs and sync issues with Entra. I know PaperCut is highly recommended, but our budget is pretty tight. We're a nonprofit organization with around 50 users and five printers, so we're looking for options that offer features like badge release. Ideally, we want something that's cost-effective—spending $5000 or more a year just isn't feasible for us. If anyone knows any options that are reasonably priced and reliable, I'd love to hear about them! Also, I might have to make a decision soon, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Can someone break down the benefits of cloud printing for me like I'm five? I honestly don’t get why you'd transfer data halfway around the world to print something next door. Isn’t that a bit silly?
Right? It's about getting rid of all the local server issues that come with managing print jobs directly. You avoid a lot of those headaches!
I found that tools like Ezeep Blue and PaperCut are also mentioned as viable alternatives. Maybe give those a look too!
I've heard good things about Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic), PaperCut, and Printix. They are among the more recognized options in this space.
I totally agree! We've been on PrinterLogic for six years, and it's been smooth sailing for us since the switch. It manages everything beautifully.
Just to clarify, I'm not after "cloud printing" as such. I want a secure, cloud-based print solution. But as for cloud printing, it lets you print from anywhere without needing a VPN. You could have your assistant print something from home, for instance. Plus, it eliminates the need for a dedicated local print server, which saves a lot of hassle.
