We're looking to move away from our outdated on-premises phone system this fiscal year and transition to a hosted PBX, most likely 3CX. We're considering using Callcentric for our phone lines, but I've heard that using an ATA can be unreliable. Are there any services out there that offer reasonable rates for handling high page counts when it comes to faxing?

If you're using an ATA, give T38Fax.com a look. They seem to have good compatibility.
You might want to check out Telnyx for receiving faxes, and then you can direct those faxes wherever you need using a webhook. This way, you can avoid the hassles of T.38 and FoIP. Just keep in mind your regulatory needs if you decide to bring it in-house. In terms of on-premise solutions, I've had good results with Hylafax Enterprise, but the reliability depends on your T.38 provider and Internet connection.
For faxing with 3CX, they have a feature you might like that converts faxes to emails. Check it out here: [3CX Fax to Email](https://www.3cx.com/pbx/fax-to-email/).
I've had a great experience with eGoldFax for my needs. They offer solid enterprise cloud fax services. You can find more info at [eGoldFax](https://www.egoldfax.com/).
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend 3CX based on what I've seen lately. Just do a quick Google search to see what's been going on.
Are you talking about issues with 3CX as a fax server or just as a hosted PBX? What alternatives are you considering?

This looks like it will work natively with our Toshiba's. Thank you!
