Looking for Affordable OLED Monitors for 1440p Gaming

Hey everyone! I just finished building my new PC with a 9070xt 16GB, but I'm really not happy with my current monitor, the LG Ultra Gear 27GP850-B. I'm experiencing a lot of ghosting issues, even though it claims a 180Hz refresh rate, and it's honestly giving me headaches. I've heard that OLED monitors might not have this problem. Could anyone recommend some affordable options? I'm looking for options under $700 if possible, like a cheap, medium, and premium choice, and I'd love to hear your reasons for your picks!

Have you tried tweaking the overdrive settings on your current monitor? Many decent VA monitors have minimal ghosting these days, so you might not need to spend a fortune on an OLED to resolve that issue. Both IPS and VA panels should have very little to no ghosting, so consider exploring those options too before jumping to OLED. It’s not always about the pricier tech!

Yep, I noticed my monitor needed to be set in overdrive mode to work properly too. It's strange how some setups require that just to function right!

You might want to keep an eye on deals in the /r/buildapcsales subreddit. They post good ads for OLED monitors regularly. For instance, there's a refurbished Samsung G80SD 32-inch 4K 240Hz QD-OLED for about $679 right now. Just check the site often to catch good sales!
