I've been using Pop!_OS on my main computer, and after my last post, I'm eager to take bigger steps away from Windows and Google. I need help finding a solid replacement for Microsoft Office since my wife has to work with clients using Windows, and I also need an alternative for Google Drive and Docs since I operate my small business mainly through Gsuite.
I've got a secondary PC that I'm interested in turning into a server for whatever solution I choose down the line, but for now, I'm overwhelmed by the options available. I'd love to hear your recommendations for software that you like that can handle Microsoft file compatibility and replace Google Drive and Docs.

If you're looking for an alternative to Google Drive, I recommend trying megasync. It has a native Linux client and works pretty well.
But have you heard of NextCloud? It’s been getting some mixed reviews, so it might be worth looking into as well. Just compare a few options to see which fits your needs best!
You should definitely check out LibreOffice; it really fits the bill for what you’re looking for. It’s not as flashy as GSuite or Microsoft Office, but it has all the features you need to get the job done. Another option is OnlyOffice, which has some great potential too!
Also, props to you for taking these steps! It can feel like a big leap, but it’s all part of the learning process. Just dive in, experiment, and don't be afraid to make mistakes!
