Looking for Alternatives to OKTA for Cloud-based MFA

We currently have OKTA's multi-factor authentication (MFA) set up for an externally hosted server. It serves our internal staff and some external partners who aren't part of our AzureAD. Honestly, our experience with OKTA for sales and support has been pretty poor—maybe we just got a bad account manager. So now I'm exploring other options. What are some reliable cloud-based MFA providers that people are using?

You might want to check out Duo. It's a solid option known for its user-friendly interface and good support.

If you're already using Entra, I highly recommend utilizing that. It can integrate well with your existing setup.

You guys have O365, right? If so, you might have better options available through Azure as well.

Honestly, while I've seen some people criticize OKTA, it's still considered one of the best for B2B SSO and MFA. Don't overlook it too quickly! That said, Duo and Entra are definitely worth considering as they are two major players in the market.

Honestly, support can vary. It's always a gamble, but many users have been satisfied with Duo's service.

But do you think they really match OKTA in terms of support and reliability?

Make sure to clarify your specific use case. Whether you need full control or just a simple MFA will affect your choices. Alternatives like Yubico or Ping could be good, too, depending on your needs!

Good point! Context is everything in choosing the right solution.

Exactly! And if you expect infrequent access, some of the high-assurance options might not be necessary.
