My ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero motherboard recently broke after two years, and I'm on the hunt for a good replacement. I'm open to options that might be a slight downgrade from its specs. Here are my current system specs for reference:

- ASUS ROG Ryujin III 360mm Extreme cooler
- Seasonic Prime TX-1200W Titanium power supply
- NZXT H7 Elite case

Honestly, a lot of high-end boards are out of production now, so I’d recommend checking out options like the MSI Z790 Tomahawk or the ASUS TUF Gaming Plus if you want to stick with ASUS. Anything pricier doesn’t seem worth it, and you might be better off considering an upgrade to a 9800X3D if you're looking to spend more.
