I'm working on a PC build that I'm planning to buy in about 5 years, and I'm considering going with a Ryzen 5 7600X and an RTX 4070 Ti. However, I'm wondering if there are any good alternatives to the RTX 4070 Ti since I feel that 12GB of VRAM might not be enough for my needs. I primarily game at 1080p and want to max out settings for both story-driven and competitive games. Also, I'd like to know if there are options priced similarly to the RTX 4070 Ti, which is around 500 euros on eBay. While I prefer Nvidia, I'm open to AMD as well.

If you're looking at used GPUs, keep in mind that the 4070s are out of production now, so you might have trouble finding one new. At 1080p, you could consider going for something like the Radeon 9600 XT or the 5060 Ti. They'll handle your gaming needs pretty well without breaking the bank.
Thanks for the suggestion! I checked those out, but they seem a little weaker than I'd prefer. Are they at least close in performance?
