Is it possible to find an affordable laptop that offers 4K resolution and at least 1TB of storage for media viewing? I'm not interested in gaming; I just want enough power for watching movies and shows. It seems like these options are hard to come by!

If you're really set on 4K, you might consider getting a 4K monitor and connecting it to a laptop instead. It could be a more flexible setup and save you some cash!
How’s your eyesight? Some people can't really notice the difference in 4K on smaller screens. I have a 27-inch 4K monitor, and I often run it in 3K mode because the detail isn't that distinguishable for me.
I've got to disagree; you definitely notice the clarity and detail in a true 4K display. It really does enhance the viewing experience!
You could also go for a Raspberry Pi 5 as a media player. Connect it to your TV and set up a NAS for storage. Kodi runs smoothly on it, and you can use an external USB drive if you don’t want a NAS. It can handle two 4K displays if needed, too! There are even clones available if you can’t find a Pi.
Honestly, while 4K looks great, you might find that it’s not worth the extra cost if you just want to watch movies. A 2K setup might be a better budget-friendly option. For storage, consider laptops with m.2 SSDs since you can easily swap them out for larger drives if needed.
That’s a bit odd—there’s definitely no such thing as '3K.' If he’s asking for 4K, he wants 4K! Maybe you just need to sit closer or get better glasses!
