I recently switched from Windows to Mint on my new PC, and I'm aiming to set everything up for a nostalgic experience while still keeping it functional today. I've tried using Becky! through Wine, but I've hit some random errors and the UI doesn't look right. Plus, I'd rather not deal with buying a Japanese license for it. Is there an equivalent email client that runs natively on Linux? Or am I stuck just using my web browser for emails?

I think Thunderbird could be a good fit for you too! It's a solid graphical email client that works well on Linux.
Have you considered Claws Mail? It might look a bit old-school, but it has plenty of features and is still actively developed.
