I'm trying to find a way to get an animated wallpaper similar to the flowing code from the Matrix movie. I've seen people run similar effects in the terminal, but I want it as my actual desktop wallpaper. I'm using Arch Linux, by the way.

Yeah, many people run these Matrix styles in terminals, but for a wallpaper, maybe check those video options on Pexels. They have some cool animations that could give you the aesthetic you want!

You might want to try installing Cmatrix, but just so you know, that’s mainly for terminal use. If you're looking for that flow effect as a wallpaper, it doesn't quite fit. Have you thought about using a video wallpaper? That could work!

Are you sure you want animated wallpaper? Some folks might confuse it with a screensaver. If you're firm on the wallpaper idea, you could check out projects like Hidamari for that Matrix effect. You can also find videos on platforms like Pexels that might give you the right visual! Also, here's a helpful video tutorial to guide you through the setup.
