Hi everyone! I'm a computer science student eager to dive into Spring Boot to create web applications. I've got a solid foundation in object-oriented programming thanks to my experience with C++ and Java. I'm on the hunt for beginner-friendly resources that can guide me in learning Spring and Spring Boot from scratch. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

I learn best by doing. I usually start with the documentation, but if I get stuck, I’ll browse GitHub for a sample project or watch videos on YouTube. Once I have a sample up and running, I dive into my mistakes and try to expand it for better understanding.

That sounds great! I often do the same thing, but since I'm completely new to Spring, I might need those video tutorials. Cheers!

Check out Amigoscode on YouTube; it's a fantastic starting point for beginners in Spring Boot. Also, Chad Darby’s Udemy course on Spring and Hibernate for Beginners is excellent for grasping the basics.

Thanks a ton for the suggestions! Have you actually learned from these resources yourself?

I’m not entirely sure it's the best path, but I’ve been learning through online videos. I also picked up an online course for Spring Boot. Ideally, I think having a mentor to explain concepts quickly would be super helpful.

What course did you get? Is it good? Are the videos easy to follow?
