Looking for Budget-Friendly AM5 Motherboard Recommendations

I'm in the market for a decent AM5 motherboard to upgrade from my current B650 setup. I've got a 5070ti and a 9950X3D, and I'm planning to upgrade to either a 5080 Super when it drops, or a 5090 by New Year's if that doesn't happen. Ideally, I want a board with at least two SSD slots. I don't have a strict budget right now, but please avoid recommending anything super pricey, like around $750 or $1000. Thanks in advance for your help!

What’s wrong with your B650? It’s a solid board! Just curious if you’re looking for upgrades for specific performance reasons.

Nothing really, it works fine with my 5070ti. I just want a board with more than one NVMe SSD slot, and I’ve heard having a motherboard with more PCIe lanes can help with high-end GPUs. I'm still learning about PC parts, so I’m not too familiar with all the details.

If you're looking for options, I recommend the Gigabyte B850 Eagle, MSI MAG X670E, or if you have a basic B650, you could consider the Asus TUF Gaming B650E (the E variant supports PCIe Gen 5). The Asus B850 is also a good pick!

Does PCIe Gen 5 actually make a noticeable difference compared to the PCIe on my B650? I’m still trying to wrap my head around motherboards.

I’m really into the X870E Edge TI. You can usually snag it on sale for just over $300, and it has fantastic connectivity with no conflicts between M.2 and PCIe slots! Plus, you get four M.2 slots, with two being Gen 5, which is pretty great!
