I recently got a computer that's about 10 years old from my dad's workplace. Initially, it was mainly used for inventory tasks, but I've started using it for gaming. While it's not terrible, it does lack in performance. Here are the specs I have:
- Motherboard: Hewlett-Packard 18E7
- CPU: Intel i5 4590 @ 3.30GHz
- Integrated GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4600 (113MB of VRAM)
- RAM: 8GB DDR3
- Storage: 466GB HDD
Since I'm new to PC upgrades, I noticed the integrated GPU isn't great for gaming due to its very limited VRAM. I'm thinking about upgrading to a dedicated GPU, maybe a GTX 1060 or 1660 Super, and adding an SSD. I'd love to hear any advice or experiences from others regarding this kind of upgrade and if it's worth it. What GPU options do you recommend for my setup?

Definitely go for a dedicated GPU! The HD Graphics 4600 is really just for basic tasks, so upgrading will help a lot. Just make sure that your power supply can handle it; some HP models have limited wattage. Research a bit to find out what your PSU can support, and consider getting a GTX 1650 or 1050 Ti since they draw power directly from the motherboard.
