My team is exploring options for deploying custom Windows 11 images, and ManageEngine OS Deployer has come up as a potential solution. I'm curious to hear any advice, concerns, or experiences others have had with this product.

We've had solid results with ManageEngine OS Deployer. It can take a bit to set up—there's an image repository to manage and imaging templates to create—but once you get it sorted, it's dependable. We usually use a bootable USB for 'instant tasks' rather than going for the more automated MAC address options, so it’s straightforward after initial setup.

While I don't use ManageEngine myself, I prefer solutions like Autopilot which allow for deployment anywhere without all the hassle of setting up servers and managing master images. That said, I know some folks use OS Deployer effectively with their networks.

If you’re considering alternatives, Acronis Snap Deploy is worth checking out! I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about deployment tools.

I deployed 130 machines using OS Deployer and found the process pretty simple. There was some hassle with licensing, but once that was squared away, we set up a PXE server, created a golden image, and it worked without a hitch. New team members had it all figured out in just a few days!

I've found PDQ Smart Deploy Pro to be an amazing investment for my job. It saves so much time by deploying images and handling driver and program installations automatically during the deployment process.
