Hey everyone! I'm diving into PC building for the first time after my prebuilt from 2020 started to feel outdated. I think I've got a solid upgrade lined up, but I'm a bit nervous about the compatibility of the parts I picked out and would love your thoughts on whether they're suitable, future-proof, and if they'll make my build process smooth. I'm mainly using this for gaming (like BG3, Fortnite, Genshin Impact, Planet Zoo, Apex Legends, RDR2) and some Photoshop work. My budget is around $1000 USD, and I'd like to stay under that if possible. Here's what I've chosen so far:
**CPU** — Ryzen 5 7600x (already purchased on sale)
**COOLER** — Thermalright Aqua Elite V3
**GPU** — AMD Radeon 9060 XT 16GB
**MOTHERBOARD** — MSI MAG X870 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX AM5
**RAM** — TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30
**STORAGE** — Silicon Power UD90 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME SSD
**PSU** — Corsair RM750x (2024) 750 W Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
**CASE** — Lian Li V100
I plan to upgrade the CPU and GPU in a few years, which is why I went with a more robust motherboard and higher wattage PSU. Thanks in advance for any insights!

Just a quick check on your GPU – you mean the 16GB version of the 9060 XT, right? That’s important for gaming performance!
I noticed your storage choice; the Silicon Power UD90 may use QLC flash, which isn't as reliable and could slow down after a while. You might want to consider getting a drive with TLC flash instead, like the Kioxia Exceria Plus G3, the WD Blue SN580/SN5000, or the TeamGroup MP44L for better durability in the long run. Just a thought!
Awesome, thank you for the tip!
Yes! I realized I forgot to mention that, my bad!
