Hey everyone! After two days of researching PC components, I've finally put together a build, and I'm looking for your thoughts on it. Here's the link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DrCtRV. Are there any parts you think I should change or upgrade? Any help is appreciated!

I wouldn’t invest in an AM4 setup unless you’re already in it. It’s pretty much a dead platform now. You’d be better off switching to AM5 for longevity.

Thanks for the feedback! I've considered it and have updated my build. Check it out here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4T6mJn. I'm now looking at the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X.

That motherboard looks a bit pricey to me! You could get an MSI B550 Pro VDH for about $50 less. I just built a similar setup with a Ryzen 5600 and RTX 4060 for under €800, and it runs great at 1440p in most games!

You might want to check out some reputable PSU options here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1akCHL7Vhzk_EhrpIGkz8zTEvYfLDcaSpZRB6Xt6JWkc/edit?gid=1719706335#gid=1719706335.

You might want to check out this alternative build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KK9q9C. It might work better for you. If you can save up a bit more, consider this bigger upgrade: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NNmWwY.

You forgot to mention the case for that second build!

If you're on a budget, I’d suggest downgrading the CPU to the Ryzen 5600 instead of going for the 5700X or 5800X. Also, I’ve had good luck with ASRock motherboards – I’d steer clear of Gigabyte based on my experience. Just a thought!

Totally agree! I’ve got an ASRock B560M and it’s been solid for me.

Where's your budget at? I recommend going with newer parts to take advantage of DDR5 RAM and more modern tech. Your list is workable, but I’d suggest upgrading the PSU to at least Gold certified.
