- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 3.8 GHz 8-Core Processor - £280.99
- **CPU Cooler:** Montech HyperFlow ARGB 360 - £79.00
- **Motherboard:** Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX ATX AM5 - £139.99
- **Memory:** Kingston FURY Beast RGB 32 GB DDR5-6000 - £99.95
- **Storage:** Acer FA200 1 TB NVME SSD - £56.99
- **Video Card:** Palit GamingPro GeForce RTX 5070 12 GB - £559.00
- **Case:** Lian Li LANCOOL 216 RGB Mid Tower Case - £89.99

I like your build, but you might consider swapping out the CPU for an AMD Ryzen 7 7700. It performs similarly for gaming, and you could save about £40. The difference is minimal based on benchmarks, plus you could use that extra cash elsewhere. Also, upgrading to a 5070 Ti could be worthwhile for better graphics performance, especially if you can find a good deal!

Would the Ryzen 7 7700 bottleneck the 5070 Ti?

Overall, this is a solid build! The RTX 5070 is decent for 1440p, but if you're looking for more future-proofing, consider waiting for a good deal on a 16GB card. Your CPU is good, but if you play titles that benefit from 3D cache, a jump to something like the 9800x3d could give a bit more performance, although it's not strictly necessary. Maybe focus on upgrading storage because more space is always handy!

I was thinking about the 5070 Ti too, especially for the extra VRAM, but the price has held me back. I’m going with the 5070 for now and moving my 1TB SSD from my laptop to this new build.
